Original art of any craft is a unique and personal creative expression. If I consider my Self an artist and want my work respected as MY own, I must do so by respecting the art of others' as THEIR own.
To honor that, I purposely do not use any image artist's name or style in my crafting prompts. I see an AI art generator as a tool for artists, not as the artist itself (because like any tool, its utilization is what gives its existence meaning and purpose). For me, these art tools enable me to make my imagination more visible in a way I've always wanted it to be seen. They help me to manifest my ideas and emotions in a way I've always wanted them to be experienced.
I think that desire to be seen in my authentic light, to connect with others as my authentic Self, is what makes me not only an artist, but also a human. The ability to achieve this is what makes life worth living each day.
And so, as someone who has lots of thoughts and feelings but lacks the skills to draw them, I absolutely LOVE this being able to finally craft my own pictures. I'm a photographer with an eye for capturing visual art and a poet with a talent for writing literary art; AI artistry feels like the perfect melding of these two abilities. It has opened a new dimension to show my Self to those who wish to truly see me. Those who wish to truly know me.
And that's utterly exciting!
So again, I don't use any other artist's name or style in crafting my AI art designs. I don't want to take what I consider to be a spiritual experience away from anyone. And I don't want to undermine that experience for my Self by simply trying to reproduce a piece of someone else's soul.
